I had the perfect start to senior
year
But one class did instill extreme
fear
A.P. Bio was the one
The work load there was a ton
I tried my best but to no avail
Every test I took ended a fail
I couldn't handle all of the stress
And decided to leave this big ole mess
But to my surprise I was denied
I couldn't change it no matter how
hard I tried
Mrs. Chabrow thought it would be a
mistake
But I knew this was a class that I
simply could not take
I talked to Mr. Deveraux and he
agreed
This was not a class that I would
need
So I finally got out and boy was I
right
The stress was gone and all out of
sight!

Now I'm the only girl at our lab table! But it's okay, if you didn't think this class was fit for you then you made the right decision. I thought about dropping it too, but in the end I just decided to take it. It is a lot of work and notes but Mr. Devereaux's doing a good job moving at a nice pace. I liked how your poem was very straight forward and I'm hope you're enjoying your new class!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you! I was going to take AP Bio too, but all of the work was just too overwhelming. I'm happy I dropped because I certainly would've been stressed out if I kept it. Good poem Angelica!
ReplyDeleteWe would've been in the same class! I think you could have definitely pulled through with the class though because you're super hard working. But it's a good thing that you're happy with your schedule now because that matters a lot!
ReplyDeleteI am in the same situation! I can easily relate to your poem, but for some reason I'm just going to make myself stressed out. I really like the title to your poem, too. You're a really smart girl, I'm sure you'll do great in all your classes this year, don't stress(:!
