"Dessert Dilemma!"

Thanksgiving dinner my grandmother makes
But it's up to me to bake cookies and cakes

I wanted to make something different this year
Exactly what just wasn't clear

So onto the internet my fingers did run
Recipes, recipes so hard to choose one

What finally stuck out and caught my eye
Apples I see but not your typical pie

An apple cored out with crust on the top
Looked really delicious my searching would stop

I gathered the ingredients and began to core
It wasn't very easy and became a big chore

After an hour three apples were done
I had decided this was not fun

So I finished the three but that wasn't enough
I had to be creative and make other stuff

Since I had apples what else can I make
A traditional apple pie, into the oven to bake

Not exactly my plan but it smelled really yummy
And when it was served it filled every one's tummy

"What To Do?"

Sandy was her name, she was a large storm
But it was okay, I was home safe and warm
Watching the news to see where she would go
One thing was for sure, her wind would really blow
Hour after hour it seemed to get worse
When all of a sudden there was a big burst
Off went the lights, tv and all
A victim to Sandy the power did fall
Not a glimmer of light, now what do we do?
I suggested we play a game or two
Flashlights and candles would light up the room
The game of Life would take away the gloom
It was fun, it made us laugh
Time flew by a whole hour and a half
Then we were tired so we packed up the game
Being in the dark wasn't so lame
So the next time a hurricane takes light from you
Now you know exactly what to do

"Bye,Bye Bio!"

I had the perfect start to senior year
But one class did instill extreme fear

A.P. Bio was the one
The work load there was a ton

I tried my best but to no avail
Every test I took ended a fail

I couldn't handle all of the stress
And decided to leave this big ole mess

But to my surprise I was denied
I couldn't change it no matter how hard I tried

Mrs. Chabrow thought it would be a  mistake
But I knew this was a class that I simply could not take

I talked to Mr. Deveraux and he agreed
This was not a class that I would need

So I finally got out and boy was I right
The stress was gone and all out of sight!
